1. Data controller
PRO IT S.R.L., with its registered office at Aleea Petuniei no. 3, Dej, Cluj County, Romania, registered with the Trade Register under no. J12/1312/2004, VAT no. RO16329302 (“PRO IT”, “we”), is the controller of the personal data processed through the website proit-romania.ro. You can contact us at office@proit.com.ro or on +40 371 232 808.
2. What data we process and for what purpose
Contact form. When you send us a request, we process your name, e-mail address and, if you fill them in, your company, phone number, the solution you are interested in and your message. The purpose is to answer your request and to carry on the commercial conversation you initiated. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering the requests we receive and, where applicable, the steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679). The request is recorded in our customer relationship management system (Pipedrive) and is kept for as long as necessary to handle it and, if a collaboration results, for its duration; in the absence of a collaboration, for no more than 24 months from the last communication.
Anti-spam protection. The contact form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA v3, a service of Google Ireland Ltd. that analyses behaviour on submission to distinguish people from automated programs. The service may process the IP address, browser information and interaction with the page, in accordance with Google’s privacy policy. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in preventing abuse.
Direct contact. If you write to us by e-mail or call us, we process the data you communicate to us, for the same purpose and on the same legal basis.
Technical data. The server hosting the website records in its logs the IP address, browser type, page accessed and time of access, for the purpose of operating, securing and troubleshooting the website (legitimate interest). Logs are kept for short periods, in line with the hosting provider’s practice.
Traffic statistics. The website does not currently use traffic measurement or advertising tools. If we introduce such tools, they will be activated only after you give your consent through the consent window described in section 5, and this policy will be updated accordingly.
The website does not create user accounts, does not sell products online and does not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.
3. Who we share the data with
The data is accessible to the people at PRO IT who handle commercial requests. We use providers that process data on our behalf, under contract: the website hosting provider (Hostinger, servers in the European Union) and the company’s e-mail service provider (Microsoft 365), Pipedrive OÜ (the request management system, with servers in the European Union) and Google (reCAPTCHA, for the anti-spam protection of the form). We do not sell or rent personal data. Transfers outside the European Economic Area, if they take place through the providers above, are made on the basis of the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or of an adequacy decision.
4. Your rights
You have the right of access to your data, the right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and objection, as well as the right to data portability and the right to withdraw your consent, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. To exercise these rights, write to office@proit.com.ro; we reply within one month at the latest. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (www.dataprotection.ro).
5. Cookie policy
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser when you visit a website. At present, the website only uses cookies that are strictly necessary for its operation, for which no consent is required. If we introduce statistics or marketing cookies, the website will display a consent window through which you can accept, refuse or customise the categories, and your choice can be changed at any time.

No statistics or marketing cookies are stored before you give your consent. You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings; some website functions may be affected.
6. Security
The website is served exclusively over HTTPS, and access to the data received through the form is limited to the people who handle it. We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect the data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration.
7. Changes
We may update this policy when the way the website operates or the legal requirements change. The current version, with the date of the last update, is published on this page.
